M! Countdown Japan Tour Begins April


M! Countdown announced that they will be holding a Japan concert tour in April. The large scale concert 'M! Countdown Hello Japan' is to take place in Saitama Super Arena on April 25.

This will be the third concert since first concert in 2006 at Tokyo with artists such as Lee Hyori, TVXQ and Shinhwa to mark the opening of Mnet Japan. A second concert took place in 2007 toured Tokyo with Shin Seung Hoon, Big Bang and more.

To create a true Korea-Japan music festival Mnet is to collaborate with Japan's first and largest music channel, Space Shower TV. There are big expectations as the largest music channel of Japan and Korea is to join hands in creating a synergy effect.

As the first lineup of artists includes MBLAQ, F.T. Island and Supernova, Supernova is currently the most well-known K-pop group in Japan as all of their 13 singles made it on the Top 6 Oricon charts since their debut. F.T. Island Christmas concert drew in 30,000 fans in Japan while power idol group MBLAQ joined the tour.

A representative of Mnet shared, "Please look forward to our secondary lineup that will feature more popular artists."

The tour 'M Countdown Hello Japan' is to broadcast in other Asian regions through channels such as Mnet, Space Shower TV, Mnet Japan, tvN Asia and more.
