Is a Korean-American Idol Possible?
Korean American contestant in 'American Idol' made it to the Top 13 finalists stepping closer to become the next American Idol Season 11.
The person in the center of the attention is 22 year old Han Heejun from Flushing, New York.
He has made it to the final top 13 on 'American Idol' on March 4. Although he isn't the first Asian American to appear on American Idol, however the love and interest he has received makes it seem that way.
Interestingly Asian-Americans have been struggling to break into the U.S. market, while K-Pop music is growing in popularity in the U.S.
Han has been receiving strong praise of being one of the strong favorite among judges and viewers based on his appealing soft voice.
