Monday, October 22, 2007 Vietnamese girl wins smile prize at Miss Young International Nguyen Ai Chau, Vietnam’s representative at the Miss Young International pageant contest in Taiwan, received the prize for the most beautiful smile on Sunday, October 21.

“I’m very happy and proud to take this prize,” she said. Chau also took the third prize for the best skin. A beauty from Britain, Sophie Elizabeth Jones, and Thai girl Vanasa Wongbuntree won the first and the second prizes for the best skin.

Australian girl Jane Lundmark and Malaysian candidate Suzanne Loh Lih Fan were presented with the second and the third prizes for the most beautiful smiles.


Ai Chau was the second runner-up in the Miss Photo contest and is the first representative of Vietnam to attend the Miss Young International.

This year the contest draws the participation of 32 girls. The final night will take place on October 27. An online vote has been launched. Ai Chau bears number 32.
